Thank you for sharing about your classes. It takes me back to me high school days playing in the band! (Of course, minus the new technology!) It sounds like you have a lot of interesting ideas to implement into your classroom and to use as your research study. I think as you narrow your focus, your research design and data collection will become more clear.

You have some great ideas for your classroom. All of it takes a lot of time to organize and implement, but the results (I'm sure) are worth it! How do your students feel about the flipped classroom model? Do they enjoy it since it is something different from what they have experienced in the past?

Colby, your flipped classroom ideas are great. When I played in the high school band, all we did was play the same songs over and over again, year after year. Your program seems amazing.
